Why not sent the data to HCN as requested (with proper disclaimers) and get them to do a trial conversion to pinpoint any problems before even attempting the conversion?

In the end we couldn't get it to work and will have to send it to HCN to progress, should the client decide to press on with it. Found a little gem while I was at it - I tried a second conversion without dropping the first database, making the total size between 600 and 700MB (mostly images of course). It threw up an error and would not continue, and the error went something like this: "MSDE detected. Not enough room for database conversion. Contact HCN technical support." Peter. Peter This way you'll get duplication of the Database. HCN does advise customers not to do it (BP advises the same), otherwise they will have lots of problems. Why evenrisk doing it if it is not suppose to be done ?
