I have been using BP for about 6 months now and have been very happy with it. The transfer over was extremely easy. I did have to telephone their support on Sunday afternoon and got Frank who solved all the problems over the phone (even one with Pracsoft!!).

It is not as complete as MDW and does not have all the bells and whistles but I have not really missed them. There are plenty of options available on the net to cover but have found that I did not use them all that much really.

Support is fantastic and they actually listen to and act upon requests extremely promptly. I do hope that not too many people convert to BP so that the current users can continue to enjoy an almost 1 on 1 with Frank and his team. :-)

I migrated to BP 12 months ago as MD3 wasn't ready yet & I wasn't prepared
to be part of primary healthcare. No problems encountered and still
extremely happy with my move from HCM / primary.

Cedric,

BP also uses MS SQL. Did you encounter any data transfer problems of the sort I mentioned? I know that PS3 wants evrything 'correct' before it will accept data, as do many other sensible pieces of software.

Is BP filling in the gaps in terms of the functionailty not yet available, compared to MD, when it was first released? I know everyone uses their software difeerently, so maybe the other question should be, is there anything you miss seriouslY?

I ask because I know lots of GPs are interested in BP, but few of us have had feedabck from users to pass on.

Greg
