We have discovered a very dangerours bug in FRU in MD2. Now everyone who converts to MD3 also has to use this facility. If you all click on FRU icon, there are a few prompts about a backup, etc. Then appears a block with a tickbox option to Rebuild Document Databases . In red it advises you that it will significantly increase the time taken.
In some users, ticking this box will delete the content of a significant number of letters / documents. A MD2 user I was helping, phoned me in a panic. By restoring his backup, these documents were returned. He has now done a FRU without ticking the box, and I'm awaiting his phonecall to see if that left the letters / documents intact. So anybody who uses FRU to convert to BP or MD3, do not tick this option - just run FRU without it.
