Oh yes
And of course you better get a bigger server to store the logs of the
transactions of those SMS messages so that if there is a failure to
follow through a recalcitrant patients refusal to get a PSA done so that
you can put your hand on your heart and say "your honour I did
everything I could to get him to get his PSA tested before he got
metastatic prostate cancer" - see here is my attempts at contacting him
(3 letters, 2 phone calls, 5 SMS messages, 2 carrier pigeons and a note
on the notice board at his local Coles)...

And you better have those transaction logs digitally signed by a digital
notary service (tips hat to Horst) so that they pass a non repudiation
test and dont come under the hammer of Mr Dochaternowinnopayguy LLB
whose on his 4th GP this month...

Hell but on the upside, 99.9% of your patients would have had better
service with the electronic requesting service that got you in this mess
anyway.. Sleep tight with that knowledge, and the knowledge that its
all offshore in the Caymans where its safeish (are the Caymans safe? It
says so in teh movies anyway)

;)

/tongue firmly in cheek, more so than Les
