Dr Reinicke did say to the MSIA that NeHTA was not there for consensus or
words to that effect. NeHTA would make it own decisions. Andrew Magennis
bore the brunt of the assault and would be more reliable in reproducing his
exact words. Personally, I was in a state of shock that someone in the
public service would be so arrogant. But then his constituents are his
shareholders not the public and the constituents are the Ministers of the
States. Interesting. I find it hard to understand how Governments have to
operate through Corporations.

I thought so much was obvious when our prime miniature marched this country 
into an unjustifiable war without so much as asking his "constituency" or 
even listening to his own "intelligence" services.

No, we surely live in a banana republic now, with a kangaroo government -
and 
NEHTA's behaviour fits oh so neatly into this scenario
