Forums are for people with not enough to do who need to fill their time with something. I just had a look at the AusMedSoft group and loved the first message that I found: "Gary Spurge <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The value in faxed hand written notes is so little and the amount of > work involved in dealing with this data was so great in my opinion, > that I turned my fax machine off. ... > If people really want their stuff to make it into my notes, it will > come via the internet." I had never thought of that. I love it - the most direct action. After turning off the fax machine, I will write back to every person and organisation who sends anything by post, explaining that my practice has now moved beyond the intermediate technology of faxing and into the digital data age. I will include my two page promo for Argus, asking them to use Argus to send whatever they need to communicate. -- Oliver Frank, general practitioner 255 North East Road, Hampstead Gardens, South Australia 5086 Phone 08 8261 1355 Fax 08 8266 5149 Mobile 0407 181 683 _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
