In fact I am quite desperate in trying to attract a competent colleague willing to share the work load (and associated excellent income) with me (including on call) - my current assistants are nice and competent and popular with the patients but not willing to do on call nor cover for me when I am away on conferences or holidays (I would cover you equally of course when you want to go away) If you work a similar workload (incl A&E and procedures) as I do, you can expect well in excess of $300k p.a.
