I am certain you are correct which was the basis of my quote. If the
patient is to receive a rebate then the description of the service must
contain the elements of the relevant item descriptor in the Medicare
Schedule of Benefits - that is an easy matter to include in any billing
system. Keeps big brother off your back too - they could never get you
for Medicare fraud - provided you didn't lie with the description, any
errors would be theirs!
now there's ammunition for a peaceful revolution.... imagine if everyone
agreed to do just that, and encouraged the patients to post in their
claim forms for just a few weeks
solve the (un)employment situation in short order once they needed to
start processing in a time frame that met benchmarking requirements
