It's OK for you to laugh/smirk, Horst, because you
have the software (miniGnuMed) to run natively on
Linux.  All the rest of us don't  :-( 

So most of us are stuck with needing a Windows
server (except say Genie users on Macs), unless
there is a way to somehow run MD3, PS3, BP etc
(ie. the MS sql based proggies) on a Linux server.

Medical software that  runs on an Access or similar
database on Windows98 could be run on a Linux
server with Win4Lin or VMWare.  But this medical
software is becoming obsolete (probably within the
next 1-2 years), so all of us without miniGnuMed 
are screwed into a Windows server  :-( 

Aren't we?
