Between "Apple-Tab" to change programs, "Apple-Tilde" to change documents, and Expose which I map to the thumb button on my mouse, I find it quite

I use Expose with a mouse corner - for those of you who haven't seen it, it zooms out all active windows allowing you to switch between them very quickly - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expos%C3%A9_ (Mac_OS_X). I have too many apps running for Apple-Tab to be effective and use Expose so much I'm quite annoyed when I'm on a computer that doesn't have it. Clones are being created for Linux but I haven't seen one working. You'll probably need a 2GB video card to do this under Vista.

To launch applications, "Shift-Apple-A", type the first few letters of the application then "Apple - down arrow". 2 seconds usually. The utilities
folder is accessible also, "Shift-Apple-U".

These only work with the Finder active though right? I've been using Quicksilver http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/ which is like Spotlight on steroids, and lets me find any app or document with a couple of keystrokes.

cheers,
Peter.
