I think any vendor who witholds information about *security* related systems 
should be implicitly excluded as an option.

Security  system vendors who have a clean act and a good trustworthy product 
will always fully disclose the details about their product

Those who rely on security by obscurity are nothing but snake oil peddlers by 
definition

No need to name any particular vendor, but the HUDGP would be well advised to 
take such thoughts into consideration when choosing
