In Feb 2007 a revamped AHIC, chaired by the Dean of Medicine from Melb Uni - will reform and try to work out what to do. Apparently this new chair is a great venom scientist who knows not much about Health IT.

David, is this the person that you are talking about?

Professor Angus is not a medical graduate or practitioner, and his biography does not report any experience or knowledge of patient care-related medical informatics. Perhaps it is his knowledge of venom (also not specifically mentioned in the biography above) that qualifies him for the position of chairing the new AHIC, because the current trickle is likely increase to a flood as the frustration levels of everybody from the Federal Minister down continue to rise.
