Ash Is Vista less tested than Win95, Win98 & WinXP were when they were initially released ? Yet lots of people jumped in getting those OS shortly after each one was released.

Only now is HCN doing the testing etc. i'm amazed that anyone would bother to use such a resource heavy barely beta-tested sytem for mission critical applications a lot of businesses still use win2000 to good effect, saving money along with extending the use of less than cutting edge hardware (i won't name a major sydney private hospital where i have first hand experience) vista may look gorgeous, but i reckon anything adherent to standards that can run a web browser would do if there were applications to successfully utilise it, and thus kill the need for platform dependence too simple i guess (nod to david de bhal, who has sort of sdone that, albeit locked to i.e. dependencies) ash _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
