Is Vista less tested than Win95, Win98 & WinXP were when they were initially
released ? Yet lots of people jumped in getting those OS shortly after each
one was released.

i'm amazed that anyone would bother to use such a resource heavy barely
beta-tested sytem for mission critical applications

a lot of businesses still use win2000 to good effect, saving money along
with extending the use of less than cutting edge hardware (i won't name
a major sydney private hospital where i have first hand experience)

vista may look gorgeous, but i reckon anything adherent to standards
that can run a web browser would do if there were applications to
successfully utilise it, and thus kill the need for platform dependence

too simple i guess (nod to david de bhal, who has sort of sdone that,
albeit locked to i.e. dependencies)
