Often a microsoft licence allows you to run the previous version of that product eg a vista licence allows you to run XP Pro. It could be that you are allowed to purchase SQL2005 and use the licence to (temporarily) run SQL Server 2000 until the newer (SQL2005 compatable) version of Medical Director appears. Seem a shame to spend good money on a superseded product.
