I had tried the normal 'ssh [EMAIL PROTECTED]' and expected to enter a password, however an error message appeared. It was at this point that I queried whether I had set up SSH properly. All I want to do is run Chicken of the VNC through SSH! In respect to VNC I imagined that turning on the 'Remote Login (or was it Desktop??)' enabled the VNC ports to be opened, when in fact I had to add these ports to the list of ports. Andre.
