The message I get in Terminal upon trying to securely upload the public

I did read that if I am connecting as root that I may have to alter the
sshd_config to PermitRootLogin... OR is it that something is wrong with
permissions?
Should I be modifying the sshd_config file??
One thing I may try is SSH'ing in via a different account...
That's the first thing, Andrew. See if you can ssh in as a user and then
try root.
