I think most of the people on this list are too good to degrade themselves to political lackeys and "yes-men" Since the funding demise of the GPCG the political climate in health IT has taken a sharp turn towards the abysmal. Dissent or creativity is not tolerated, and solutions not fitting into a narrow-minded political construct have no chance at all. All that's left is to wait until the current government goes away like a very bad dream, and then we can roll up our sleeves and do something constructive.
