Maybe the risk of litigation with HCN is a bit overstated - I have in the past harshly criticised their product MDW on this list and others, but never had threats of litigation from them. On some occasions Andrew Magennis defended the product or discussed what was stated, but that was that. I submitted once an article to OzDoc re their password encryption which in my view was dangerously simple, which OzDoc then didn't publish out of "legal concerns", retrospectively understandable (though beats me why HCN didn't fix that problem for even years after I told them directly and indirectly). But I received no legal threats around that either. Is anybody aware of any litigation threats of HCN against *customers* or users of other software criticising their product - I am only aware of a litigation case against a commercial competitor, and I believe that one was settled out of court anyway Horst _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
