There is company called Higher Reason (if you need further contact details I can get them out of my files!) - in Melbourne whom we have used to do a Classic conversion to MD3 - the drug database does not come across cleanly - however the company are very helpful and certainly we would use them again if another client wished to move from Spectrum to MD.

Does anyone have any ideas on companies able to do a conversion from Spectrum Classic to MDW3? One of my practices has contacted HCN about the conversion and they have suggested that this needs to take place via a third party and HCN provided him a lead. This (interstate) company has suggested that a copy of the back up along with a $500 cheque should be posted to them to enable a quote to be provided. Not all that encouraging. Is anyone aware of any companies who can give a quote without a relatively substantial fee to provide a quote? The Spectrum system is based on Fox pro and they practice has 6500 - 7000 patients on the database.
