itis called PBD ("problem by design")
If they would opt to store all information on a single *maintainable* server
backend like PostgreSQL, updates , backups and restores would be a breeze,
not interrupt workflow, and no support issues either once a system has been
set up and running
This silly idea of multiple data repositories plus the licenseing issues
encumbered, artificially crippled and hidesouly unmaintainable MSSQL server
is just the recipe for support disasters - they have been asking for it, now
they get it.
