I think your question never received any reply. Were you able to solve it 
already?

We do support 10.5 although user support is a little tricky since the core team 
is running 10.7 so testing is a little hard. Currently we are investigating an 
issue with our Installer and 10.5 It might be a good idea to rather run the 
single installer packages:

Find
GPGMail for 10.5: http://www.gpgtools.org/gpgmail/index.html
MacGPG2: http://www.gpgtools.org/macgpg2/index.html
and GPG Keychain Access: http://www.gpgtools.org/keychain/index.html

Take a close look, versions for 10.5 might not be the main download link.
