is limited by the 'rights' framework.

It reminds me of the similar logic used to belittle  Feminist moves to raise

verbal abuse as sexual harrassment. People often tend to sideline such
issues as
attempt to blow things out of proportion. They belive it is nonissues as
'nothing serious happened".

Also, suffocation/ insult  experienced cannot be gauged from outside. What
is the measure?
It is easy [ as in cases of Lesbian suicides] to find any number reasons for
a tragic occurrence
if we refuse to take into consideration the symbolic violence implied in all
spheres of life.
