what is/should be urban/local lifestyle? who will decide it? such encroachemnts and the celebration of "local" is very problematic baba.. this reminds me of the Gandhi-Ambedkar debate
Ambedakr rejects Gandhian celebration of local/village (see how NGOs define it and celebrate Gandhian village of savarna raj) and i dont subscribe to such VIllage RAJ even if it land me in trouble how long will the local be trapped? whn will it beemancipated from its "virtues"? i like CITY, and will definitely come with such a life style. (Hypothetical statement of return is not bz of homesickness or nostalgia; my mother is der ..that's all..otherwise i d like to be outside Kerala) and i must say one should attempt once to come out of Village, at least theoretically...
