i think there is need to debate on that issue, but i cant just put it as a mere "visit of a policeman" perhaps "every one knows everyone" villagers may know better and is a problem, as pointed out earlier, evry time mulims are asked to show their sincerity to nation. which their HIndu counterparts need not require
and perhaps u just need to open ur newspaper to see what happens in the "every one knows everyone" villages and what kind of prgress it offered.. such paradigms are entrenched in the very Brahmincal/savarna imageries.
