Deepak, to me the problem lies exactly in this demand for proving one's innocence in order to be eligible for support. That demand is not 'regardless of religion' but specific to certain religions, as Murali exposed in his second mail. Evidence is not given but constructed. When 'observation' is guided by prejudices , we should question those prejudices. If such violations fall outside of the existing laws , we must question the very nature of laws. We must expose the prejudised nature of the state machinaries and legal system instead of inmvesting all our hopes for justice in them .
