Yet another spectacle purportedly mobilizing on identities! KDMS seems to aim just that, possibly with lots of goodwill by all connected to the human rights of dalit and women. Nevertheless, it takes shape within a framework in which more fundamental questions about the generic nature of accumulated surplus are conveniently put off ! Perhaps permanently so! Putting in perspective a fair understanding of the very process of how a minuscule minority of the human tribe continues to extract and appropriate the fruits of labour of all toiling masses is either never talked about or sabotaged by a built- in discourse of identities.. The reality remains,however, that it hasn't been just about Padmanaban's wealth ! One wishes the entire black & white money that distort, define, reign and dictate all human relationships in terms of class,caste, gender and class had merited some thought on this occasion.
