I see. I think you misunderstand what we are discussing. Let's say you have a file called chant.gabc. If you run gregorio on this file:
gregorio chant.gabc ... it currently produces a file called chant.tex. The suggestion here is to change the file it produces to chant.gtex. The main file for the score will continue to be main-chant.tex. In other words, you can call that file whatever you want. Does that make sense?
