There was an incompatibility with the definition of greloadluamodule and
the latest luatex.
Last time I reinstalled gregorio from svn I still had to edit
gregoriotex.tex to get it working. I posted about it a while back.
Might that help?
In the gregoriotex.tex code there were some switches to test for which
version of luatex, but maybe we just need to make it depend on having
the latest luatex.
