Dear mailing list, I'd like to *receive* messages sent via Prowl ( http://www.prowlapp.com/static/prowl.pl) on my MacBook with Growl. Or is there any other way to send a Growl message to my Mac without knowing my MacBooks IP address? The Growl client or any service client on my MacBook would need to communicate with an external server (Prowl, Bring Your Own, ...) to receive the notifications.
Does anyone know any service or script offering such functionality? Just in case you ask, I already know that it is possible to send my Growl notifications via Prowl to ProwlApp on my iPhone, but this is not what I'm asking for. Thanks for your help.
