Mac OS X 10.10.2 Twitter desktop app for Mac 3.1.0 Growl 2.1.3, using "Bubbles"
I noticed this for the first time tonight after rebooting. I have had Growl paused for a while to prevent any notifications at all to reclaim desktop real estate. (Quitting Growl meant that OS X handled them and I didn't want to disable them in the Notification Center, too.) After this reboot, Growl was still showing as paused, but OS X began displaying the notifications (I think for all). I made no configuration changes. I quit Growl and restarted. I noticed with Growl un-paused that it seemed to work as expected, but @ mention notifications were being displayed twice: once by Growl, once by the OS. I believe it's only doing this for the second of two active accounts, but I have not received any @ mentions for the first, so I can't confirm at the moment. (I have included a screen-shot example, with some personally identifiable information whited out, leaving enough to confirm that they are the same notification being repeated.) When I paused Growl again, all notifications stopped (as desired)... except for the @ mentions for the second account. Is this something anyone else is seeing, or should I just 'turn it off and back on again'?
