Let's see if that does it. I had an issue with the same thing early on with
notification center, which is why I thought of it.

Growl has a history of notes.
http://growl.info/images/screenshots_images/NotificationHistory.png is an
example of it and where to go, This is really what I meant about logs,
sorry about the naming convention flip.
