There's a new GUI GridFTP client that was written in Shanghai. They've joined as an incubator project at <http://dev.globus.org/wiki/ Incubator/SGGC>. They don't have a link to their .jar files up yet, but I know they exist. I'll see if they can edit the wiki page and make the downloads more generally available.

Thanks Christian

I’m aware of both of those ->

Cog -> single file at a time (no recursion)
Firefox -> http based and depends on Old firefox 1.5
VFSManager -> not supported on mac
Gridftp.net -> obviously only Win
Trebuchet -> works on non-Intel based macs but uses “active” transfers and therefore doesn’t work at a lot of sites

Would like the tool to be gui-based, able to do recursive transfer and operate in passive mode.

Cheers

As far as I know there isn't anything like a native Mac client out there, but you may want to try the Firefox GridFTP extension http:// www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/grid/library/gr-firefoxftp/ or the Java-based Commodity Grid Kit http://wiki.cogkit.org/index.php.
