Yes you are correct. That's fine when all you want to do is patch the problem
area.Leakdown or not this puppy is weak. I 'm not going to be patching her up.I'm
going to tear the engine down & rebuild it . I don't like to tear down my engines
unless they need it. This one will be good for this season, even if it's a little down
on power. When I open up any of my engines , they never go back stock. So I'm in the
researching stages, when it comes to my GTS\FZR engine. I'm looking at how to make it
more efficient\reliable , where to concentrate on power & torque gains, which
steps\parts are needed to execute the various mods that will come?I would also like to
see if I can fit an aftermarket 4-1 header with 2 mufflers (like my other bikes). It's
a lot of work,so time is needed .For this season I'm concentrating on getting all my
plastic, bodywork\windshields, ABS HU, SS brake lines, Ohlins suspension, Givi tail
bag & a few other little detail things. I want the structure\chassis to be solid
first. I'll do the engine later. This bike is a keeper. For the first couple years it
will be my (motorcycle)money pit,I know that. But when I have it all ironed out, I'll
get my reward in dividends, because I'll have many years of trouble free FUN riding
around my MINTY GTS BABY. Hey, maybe I'm insane , but then a little insanity in an
