Surely you don't think FJ owners maintain or store their bikes any better
than GTS owners? I think this actually proves the opposite...ie: it is not a
maintenance/storage problem. While the HU may (or may not exactly) be the
same, the point where air/water enters into the system may be in any of
numerous other the other components (hoses, hose connections, calipers,
master cylinder etc) Who knows...it may have been just one batch of HUs that
got a bad o-ring or something and they all happened to end up on GTSs. Has
anyone who had a HU replaced had it fail?

....The findings seem to indicate that the HU is the same unit on both
bikes.( With the exception of mounting points). FJ owners don't seem to have
any problems. Which leads this whole thing back to maintenance,& storage
