Here's the answer , they don't , but most club members
have a basic service at 4000 miles , at which time the ABS
bikes have their system's static tested ( ie bike not being ridden ) and
any faults detected are put right.
I think most ABS failures are due to lack of use , which allows corrosion to
set in.
I try to make my ABS work at least once a week , after all
its no good waiting for an emergency situation to arise and find the ABS
pump has seized.
