Possibly, POSSIBLY, the slipon could be having an effect. What has
been my limited experience is that the 'freer' breathing exhausts will
'move' power and torque around in the rpm curve. Sometimes, it will
'excerbate'
any small problems or 'piccadillo's' into something much larger.
If you can get your hands on a stock can, try switching them and see if
it
makes any difference or improvement.
