Installation is not that bad, though I had one bracket that just didn't fit and they replaced it (probably wasn't put in the welding jig correctly). You do have to cut a couple of slits in the rear fender plastic but they give you a pattern to place on it which makes it easy. Only down side I see to my Givi Wingrack is I have to remove it to access the side panels of the bike. Makes for a little extra effort to change the rear brake fluid but after you do it a few times it's pretty quick.
