I am suprised they let him do that. I have been at the MD DMV when the
confiscated a car on the spot, and had it towed.

The bike was not towed....Dave rode the bike (sans plate) to the police
dept. But you're correct, folks who tow these puppies rarely care about
them as much as we do.
