Hi Thomas , 176,000 miles , this has got to be the highest mileage on a GTS
, just hope mine lasts as long .
I've been to quite a few bike shows and the most asked
question was " Hows the front wheel held on " and they get the answer " With
4 nuts " , then i have to explain the steering , i don't mind people asking
, but after telling 10 different people the same thing , i just need to have
a break .
Looks like you've found the problem , the ball joint .
Once you've replaced it can you let me know if it's sorted out the clunk .
