Hello to everyone, I recently started to rebuild my abs pump. Thanks for the rebuild
procedure from the I-net, it was really helpfull. But a problem occured.
The 2 cilinders in de sides of the unit. The ones with the O-rings.
Inside these ones are little pistons with one sealing each.
One of these sealings is broken, dealer says he can't order the peaces.
Can I replace it by a regular O-ring? I doubt that, but what do you think?
Another problem is that one of the cilinders was become one rusty part with the little
piston.
Think that's because the side who slides against the bearing (at the axle of the
electrical engine) has no lubrication whith the cilinder. Can I use some regular
grease?
In the attempt to seperate them, i dammaged them a little. Dealer tells the same story.
Question: ABS unit GTS = ABS unit FJ1200??
Is there someone in Belgium who has spare parts? (One cilinder + piston + sealings)
