Ok. You've got me. What about touring range? My 1986 has about 200-210 miles
per tank for the type of riding I do. The new model has a HUGE tank.
Agree on suspension though. From what I've heard it's not too good on recent
VFRs.
The optional bags are not an issue though. From what I've heard they will be
pretty large, so my guess is that they'll be sticking out of the bike
far. So I doubt there will be any advantage for lanesplitting versus
a setup with Givi.
A former coworker claims he keeps the K100 solely for the reason of the rear
end being compact with the bags on. However I always pitied the guy when I saw
him trying to cram all the stuff into his puny beemer bags.
Plus there was a story about the bag being lost on freeway :-]
