I know...not another tire thread!
I could probably find my answer in the archives....but there's just too damn many tire
threads to wade through.
Well, I got a very disappointing 3,500 miles out of my Pirelli Dragon GTS front tire.
My lowside crash came after about 1500 miles, so I haven't been cornering all that
hard since then(almost no peg scrapes). Still there's virtually no tread left between
the center and the edge of the tire. That is to say there's a little left in the
center and a bit more left near the edge but nothing in between.
I guess about 2,500 miles of the 3,500 was on twisty roads.
So, has anyone that ran the Dragon got better milage out of a different tire?
