Hi J�rg, you�re right, I�m from Germany. I live in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe (South west of Germany). I just came back from a trip to Stuttgart and the "Schw�bische Alb". The weather was fine, but the last 10 Miles of the tour spend me a lot of rain. Arms, hands and shoes got wet. In this case the BMW 1150 RT has an advantage. 3 weeks ago I rode one only for a trial run. The wind and rain protection is first class. I didn�t get wet. The engine however disappointed me. It was very rough and had strong vibrations. Anyway the BMW was too expencive. So I think it was a good decision to buy a GTS.
