It's all in the lean Henry. The Pirelli GTS MTR23/24 tends to wear out on the sides faster than the center much like the 'ol BT57s did, especially the front MTR23. Rick seems to do a lot of canyon carving (and gravel surfing). :^)

I have a set of GTSs on my 94, which I VERY happy with, and they seem to be showing very little wear after 2000 miles, mostly on urban/suburban streets and interstate highways. Very little twisty stuff, unfortunately. I'm wondering if the rider's weight has much to do with the wear you are seeing, or if suspension set up could make a difference? Regards, Henry S.
