No they don't, less actually. Still, I wouldn't install one in my bike for a couple of reasons, first, I don't want to ADD weight to the GTS with the transformers etc, second, I haven't heard good things about them yet in anything other than the cars made with them in mind (some BMW and Mercedes etc).
The light characteristics are so far different from the regular halogens that I was even recommened against even thinking about the HID retrofit kit for my car, and that's made by Sylvania, which is a large reputable manufacturer.
