Also, since the FCC does not cover the light spectrum
(yet(unless it is in fiber optic cables?)) it is
ostensibly legal to "jam" laser by emitting on that
frequency (or close to it)(you'd probably still get a
ticket for something, maybe even a criminal charge for
conspiracy).  This actually turns out to be highly
effective against this technology but the current crop
of laser jammers seems to be license plate frames, and
if you have a red GTS you can always out-run the laser
from behind...
