Recently, I notice that when both of the coolant fans on my 1993
GTS kick in when the bike is on the center stand, they work
opposite from one another. The left (clutch side) fan will blow
the warmed air from the radiator TOWARD me (sitting on the bike)
through the vent located by me left knee, however the right fan
works in reverse drawing air AWAY from me and the engine blowing
it through the front of the radiator toward the head hight. Is
this normal? Shouldn't both fans be drawing air in through the
front of the radiator and blow the hot air toward the rider
together or do the fans blowing opposite increase cooling
efficiency?
