This is a followup on my hard starting when cold, or sitting for more than a few days between starts/charges.
I tested the parasitic load on the battery when everything is off, and the only thing drawing power is the clock, which draws .40 milliamps (yes, less than 1 ma). Removing the fuse brought the draw down to .01 to .02 MA, which is the same as the multimeter shows when the two leads are held together, i.e. the draw is either 0 or too small to measure. So I could either be back to a weak battery, or something in the starter. Keep in mind the battery is only 6 months old, and was VERY carefully prepared when new. I guess I need to have the battery load tested.
