I think I�ve never done more than about 135 miles (210-215Km.)per tank. Anyway I�m not worried as I use the GTS mainly in the city, and weekends extreme canyon roads riding basically 2nd & 3rd gear rarely under 6k. Even 1st in 180 degrees close turns when hear the 2000-01 600cc engines coming behind, looking for their stickers. (since 120 front, 180 back and latest modifications)
There are some set phrases in Spanish involving stickers and the world of motorbikes. "I�m gonna took your stickers off" ---> I'm gonna pass you as fast that your stickers will go off". "You'd better carry a new set of stickers with you"---> Your stickers will go off. Do you know set phrases like this? I know the GTS was not designed to be a "stickers hunter", but it's the bike I like, and that's what my friends and I do. BTW. To those who believe that the GTS has nothing to do in these situations, who think that this can�t be done with such a heavy moto, I�d invite then to a free Non Certified Riding Course, in Valencia�s canyon roads. (Don't try it at home using 130 front)
