I'll third Michael's observations.  Mine is a
DiamondStar and has similar features.  I can switch
off (normal light function), standby (normal function
+ 4 second modulation burst with horn activation), and
on (normal low beam, modulated on high beam, 4 second
burst with horn and auto to standby when light gets
low).  I especially get a kick out of occasionally
being mistaken for an emergency vehicle...
